VUO legal
VUO Gen One Membership Terms
These Membership Terms form the agreement between you and VUO Labs AB when you accept an invitation and buy a VUO Gen One membership. Please read them before accepting or paying. The short summary in your candidate room does not replace these Terms.
1. About VUO and how to contact us
The service is provided by VUO Labs AB, Swedish organization number SE 559577-5684, Hälsingegatan 51, 113 68 Stockholm, Sweden. For membership, billing, cancellation, withdrawal, or complaint questions, contact support@vuolabs.com. For privacy questions or data-protection rights, contact privacy@vuolabs.com.
2. Eligibility and acceptance
Membership is personal, offered by invitation, and available only to a person who is at least 18 years old and lives in a country VUO currently supports. You must give accurate legal, contact, and billing information and keep your Members account secure. Your contract is concluded when you actively accept the current version of these Terms. Membership does not become active until VUO also records payment for the first plan period.
Before accepting, you must separately confirm the required sensitive-data, supplier-handoff, and non-medical acknowledgements. The Privacy Notice is information about processing and is not itself a consent or agreement checkbox.
3. Membership and plan periods
Membership runs in successive rolling three-calendar-month plan periods until you cancel. Each paid period includes the personalized morning and evening supplement formulation for that period, nutrition guidance, a Quarterly Brief, the testing and expert-session benefits shown in your candidate room, and access to the applicable Members services. Timing can depend on your completion of testing, questionnaires, supplier steps, and safety review.
Your formulation is personalized from permitted recommendation outputs. VUO may adjust a future period when relevant inputs, goals, scientific rules, supplier availability, or safety requirements change. VUO does not promise a particular ingredient, dose, outcome, or uninterrupted availability of a supplier.
4. Price, payment, and renewal
The price is €1,050, including applicable tax, for each three-calendar-month plan period. This is equivalent to €350 per month within the period. Standard membership delivery is included unless a clearly disclosed exceptional charge applies before you order. No payment is taken merely because you were selected.
After accepting, you may pay by the available card checkout or request a manual invoice. A first invoice is normally payable within 10 calendar days. For later periods, VUO normally sends an invoice 50 days before the current period ends, with 10 calendar days to pay, or attempts an authorized card charge 35 days before the period ends. Members will show the concrete next-period dates. A failed payment pauses preparation for the next period but does not by itself cancel your membership or end an already paid period.
5. DNA and blood-testing benefits
DNA sequencing is intended as a one-time membership foundation. A recurring blood test every six months is included and paid by VUO. The Blood Testing Supplier has not yet been selected, so blood coordination is currently disabled and the benefit cannot begin until VUO names an approved supplier and publishes its reviewed processing path.
VUO does not receive or store your saliva sample, raw DNA file, genetic-variant data, blood-test values or files, or the sessions and answers from the NorthStream customer health questionnaire. Those inputs remain in approved supplier-controlled systems. VUO receives only the permitted coordination status, opaque references, and allowlisted recommendation results needed to operate the membership.
6. Health and safety
VUO provides personalized nutrition and supplement guidance, not medical diagnosis, treatment, emergency care, or a replacement for professional medical advice. Tell VUO about relevant safety information requested through an approved path. Speak with a qualified clinician before making changes if you have a medical condition, use medication, are pregnant, breastfeeding, trying to conceive, or have urgent symptoms. VUO or a supplier may pause or decline a formulation when necessary for safety or legal compliance.
7. Fourteen-day withdrawal right
You may withdraw from the membership contract without giving a reason within 14 calendar days after accepting these Terms. Use the Withdrawal action in Members or email support@vuolabs.com with an unambiguous statement that you are withdrawing. VUO will send a durable receipt. You may also include your name, account email, acceptance date, and the words “I withdraw from my VUO membership.”
VUO will not place the first personalized supplier order before that period has ended. If you withdraw in time, VUO will void or refund the first-period payment in full using the original payment method, normally within 14 days after receiving your notice. This section does not limit any stronger mandatory consumer right.
8. Cancellation and reactivation
You may cancel renewal in Members at any time. If you cancel before payment for the next period, VUO stops that renewal and voids an unpaid invoice where possible. If next-period payment has completed but a human has not yet placed the personalized supplier order, VUO stops the refill and voids or refunds that payment. If the order has already been placed, the paid period remains included and cancellation takes effect at its end. Members shows the effective date and included period.
You retain access for the current paid period, subject to these Terms. Exceptional post-order refunds require support review and do not reduce mandatory rights for faulty or misdescribed goods or services. You may reactivate before the effective cancellation date if Members offers that option; later reactivation may require a new invitation, current terms, and current pricing.
9. Delivery, defects, and complaints
Delivery estimates are estimates and may change because testing, review, or personalized production takes time. Inspect deliveries and contact support@vuolabs.com promptly about missing, damaged, faulty, or incorrect items. VUO will provide the repair, replacement, price reduction, refund, or other remedy required by applicable consumer law. Do not use a product that appears damaged, tampered with, or inconsistent with its label.
10. Acceptable use and responsibility
Do not share private links, accounts, products, supplier access, or personalized guidance with another person; attempt to access another person’s data; misuse the service; or upload raw DNA, blood files or values, or NorthStream questionnaire answers to VUO. You are responsible for following product instructions and for keeping your contact, delivery, and safety information accurate.
11. Personal data and consent
The Privacy Notice explains how VUO processes personal data. Where VUO relies on explicit consent for health-related or genetic processing, you may withdraw it at any time by contacting privacy@vuolabs.com. Withdrawal does not affect earlier lawful processing, but VUO may be unable to create or continue the personalized service that depends on those data. Withdrawal of privacy consent, statutory withdrawal from the contract, and cancellation of renewal are separate actions with different effects.
12. Changes, suspension, and ending the service
VUO may update these Terms prospectively for legal, security, supplier, or service changes. Material changes will be presented before they bind a later payment or renewal. VUO may suspend access to protect a person, the service, or another party; investigate misuse; or comply with law. If VUO ends an already paid membership without your material breach, it will provide the remedy required for the unused portion under applicable law.
13. Law and dispute resolution
Swedish law applies, without depriving you of mandatory protections in the country where you live. Contact support@vuolabs.com first so VUO can try to resolve a complaint. You may also contact the Swedish National Board for Consumer Disputes (Allmänna reklamationsnämnden, ARN) or another competent consumer-dispute body or court. Nothing in these Terms excludes a right or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded.
